While studying cats through the use of watercolors, I showed my students the adorable book written and illustrated by the Second Grade Students of East Washington Academy in Munice, Indiana. This book "walks" you through an amazing adventure of a cat that is meandering in and out of many famous works of art! This cat begins his journey in Van Gogh's Sunflowers and continues on to many wonderful pieces of art! This was a fun way to show my students how a cat can look really great without adding it's face. It also was a fun way to show them some wonderful famous artists! We enjoyed creating artwork from a unique perspective!
